When you get tired of classrooms and computers, get into some fun with your engineering friends at the University of Dayton.
Want to build a dune buggy? Construct a small bridge? Visit a local plant? Take a canoe trip? Explore career options with a professor over pizza and sodas?
You'll build organizational skills when you join one of our 23 engineering student organizations, which include student chapters of national honor societies, professional organizations, service clubs, and sororities and fraternities.
Getting involved is your opportunity to learn, lead, serve and network outside of class. Our student organizations routinely win regional and national awards and competitions for their extracurricular engineering projects and outstanding student members.
How about a little friendly competition among fellow classmates? Get a team together and participate in one of a dozen events during Engineer's Week — from hockey and volleyball to bowling and egg dropping — held each spring on campus.
Sure, our engineering students have to study hard. But they make it a priority to get involved in life at UD. You'll find engineering students in the marching band, theater groups, sports and service organizations.
At UD, you make time for play.
