Cleveland Hotel Reception

Find out more about the UD community through our group of representatives who will be in your area to talk about the admission process and provide a link between your community and ours. Current students, alumni and faculty from the School of Engineering will join representatives from the Office of Admission, Office of Financial Aid and Career Services for a comprehensive learning experience about the University of Dayton.
The reception will be held at the Embassy Suites Cleveland-Rockside, 5800 Rockside Woods Boulevard, Independence, OH 44131.
Career Awareness Day

Career Awareness Day offers an informative overview of the engineering world, giving students the opportunity to attend presentations by practicing engineers from leading area businesses, tour selected engineering labs and interact with engineering students. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Optional campus tours will be available after the program at 1 p.m. High school students, parents, high school math and science teachers, and guidance counselors are invited to attend. There is no charge for the program, but attendees must register in advance.
Space is limited and registrations must be received by Wednesday, October 22. Students attending separate from a school group should fill out the online registration form. High school teachers and guidance counselors registering a school group should contact Annette Packard at apackard@udayton.edu.
Explore Engineering

The School of Engineering invites high school juniors and seniors to come and explore engineering — the hands-on way! Visit campus and learn about engineering design and innovation through activities led by faculty and students in the departments of chemical, civil, electrical and computer, mechanical and aerospace engineering, and engineering technology. The day includes panel discussions with UD students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff. Representatives from admission, financial aid and the cooperative education program will also be available.

Women in Engineering Summer Camp 2009 July 12-17, 2009 Women in Engineering Summer Camp is a six-day residential camp for high school girls entering the tenth through the twelfth grade. Participants are immersed in the world of engineering through experiments, innovation modules, a day with industry and dinner with an engineer. The 2009 camp will mark the program's 36th anniversary.
