At the University of Dayton, you can choose from 20 graduate programs and degrees and participate in groundbreaking engineering and cross-disciplinary research.
Our convenient course offerings allow you to take advantage of our top-rated curriculum on-campus, on-site or through distance education.
Our world-class graduate programs support local and national research efforts. UD is the number one university in Ohio conducting research and development sponsored by the Department of Defense. Professional researchers and facilities at the University of Dayton Research Institute and the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base provide our students with access to significant collaborative research opportunities. We boast state-of-the-art research facilities and tools on campus, including 88 laboratories.
Significant financial aid opportunities for graduate students are available through the School of Engineering, the Dayton Area Graduate Studies Institute and individual academic programs. In fact, the majority of our full-time graduate students in engineering — 65 percent — receive a teaching or research assistantship, which provides tuition plus a stipend. Other financial support includes scholarships and fellowships.
