Integrated Arts and Technology
The integrated arts and technology (IA&T) program offers students interested in arts and engineering technology a strong foundation in areas such as audio engineering, computer-based visual design, Web page design and technical support for live performances. Upon completion of the IA&T program, students receive an integrated arts and technology certificate and an engineering technology degree.

Students completing the IA&T program will have a solid background for entering a career in their major or a technical career within the arts concentration selected. Examples include theatre stagecraft and production, audio-video production, multimedia production, music editing, mixing and production, Web site design and implementation, and more.

The IA&T program will encompass a number of arts programs. Students in any of the majors within engineering technology will be required to select one arts program and take at least 12 hours of mid- to upperlevel coursework in that particular program. In addition, they will be required to complete one service-learning project in that program which, depending on size, may or may not have additional credit hours associated with it. In some cases, the student may be required to take prerequisite courses that would not be counted as technical electives. The following courses will be accepted technical electives for this program.
